Getting started developing on Mac OS X

Having been developing software on many different platforms for over twenty years made me look forward to my new Apple project. It has been many years since doing any professional development on the Mac OS. In the late 90s, I developed software for the Palm OS using CodeWrite which, as I understood, used an Mac-like core running on Motorola based processors and applications with Resource Forks. I have been a fan of Mac's OS X integration of BSD and Next while remaining consistent with the Macintosh look & feel. I was looking forward getting my new MacBook and start programming. Read more
